‘Seamless’ is how the owners proudly describe the new kitchen inside their restored Victorian Queen Anne home. Bright, casual and open to the outdoors (decidedly un-Victorian characteristics), the space nonetheless flows smoothly into the period rooms of the house. Timeless features, including a restoration Irish baking table, sit aside industrial appliances as this grand old house proves a fitting home for modern life.
Conceived by architect Michael Kim Associates and executed by Charlie Allen Restorations, this project blends today’s modern amenities with an attention to detail and a level of craftsmanship that stand comfortably next to work of our 19th century brothers.
