A newlywed’s starter bungalow was cramped, dark and confusing to walk around. Using a couple of simple moves and a lot of ‘elbow grease,’ a spacious new kitchen and powder room were fitted into the same space that seemed too small for the old kitchen alone. Widened wall openings provide new circulation paths, while new windows introduce views to the backyard patio. With careful shopping the couple were able to buy new cherry cabinets and stone counters to replace cabinetry that was older than they were.
The smiles on the young couple’s faces show their pride in their newly transformed home.
