A venerable, but aging restaurant is given new life through an extensive renovation. A sophisticated, cosmopolitan yet casual atmosphere is designed to attract a new generation of diners throughout the Merrimack Valley. The dining rooms are re-proportioned and finished to a comfortable elegance, while the owner’s extensive collection of calligraphy, painting and photography are showcased with gallery lighting. The exterior is refreshed with colorful graphic panels scaled for its highway location. All the work was done within a tight $50/sf budget and while keeping the restaurant operating during construction.
